So exceptional meeting...

We tried Flashmeeting for the first time in our class. Some of you can say that there were just few words and a song, but we had a great fun and excitement because of being online with our European friends. Our web cam turned out to be low in quality (do not worry, next time we will have a better one!), but we took some nice pictures instead.
Here you can see a Polish team of kids singing an eTwinning birthday song:

There was also Twinny Bear sitting and attending the meeting with us!

videoWe hope you enjoy our video about Looking after our Forests. We have our own Forest School at Ysgol Heulfan, so we have been learning all about how to have fun in our Forests whilst making sure we look after the trees, plants and animals that live there. Forests are important habitats, where lots of different species often make thier homes. Please look after them, like we do so that the animals and plants can keep thier homes.

World Environment Day - Poster for Water Saving

We can drink only 3% of the water on Earth! so we have to be very careful how we use it!!! Here, the children from Greece give you some advice for water saving!

World Environment Day - Energy Saving Rules

At Southwater Infant School we worked together to decide the best rules for saving energy. We drew our own pictures for each rule and used them to make our poster. We then made a video to share our rules with everyone.

Making Our Bags!

We have begun to make our bags that we will sell to raise money for UNICEF! We began by designing the picture for our bag. Then we coloured it in. Here are a few of our designs.
Then we scanned our designs and printed them out onto special paper. We will use an iron to transfer our design onto the bag. Look - our designs have to be printed backwards!! This is so they come out the right way when we iron them!
We have lots of bags ready! We will send a bag to each of you as a gift to our friends. We hope you like them!
