Looking after our Forests!

We hope you enjoy our video about Looking after our Forests. We have our own Forest School at Ysgol Heulfan, so we have been learning all about how to have fun in our Forests whilst making sure we look after the trees, plants and animals that live there. Forests are important habitats, where lots of different species often make thier homes. Please look after them, like we do so that the animals and plants can keep thier homes.

World Environment Day - Poster for Water Saving

We can drink only 3% of the water on Earth! so we have to be very careful how we use it!!! Here, the children from Greece give you some advice for water saving!

World Environment Day - Energy Saving Rules

At Southwater Infant School we worked together to decide the best rules for saving energy. We drew our own pictures for each rule and used them to make our poster. We then made a video to share our rules with everyone.

Making Kites for World Environment Day

At Southwater we made kites to fly on World Environment Day next week. We made them out of recycled plastic bags to make a new use out of something old. We will fly them next week on World Environment Day!
